A Study on the Evolution of the Co-Ed Student Population at Poly/Tandon over the Years

NYU Tandon's gender demographic today is quite different to the predominantly male population that made up the Polytechnic Institute since its formation. There were many factors that contributed to this shift throughout the decades. This study will emphasise these factors as well as dive into some of the evolutionary changes that were made to support this change in enrollment demographic.
