Administration Response
In response to an intensification in civil unrest and protests by faculty and students, the administration at Poly decided to end the Spring 1970 semester early. They also included guidance for professors to give more lenient grades, and not include any material from the last couple of weeks on their final exams. Over the summer, civil unrest began to deintesify, and class was again in session for the Fall 1970 semester. It would be interesting to know if student/faculty census regarded this action as a mere appeasement, or if it seems that the adminstration were sympathetic to anti-war causes.
