1818: The Church was adopted as a legal entity and was officially established on High Street
1840: 292 members were marched from High Street to Bridge Street to establish the Bridge Street Church
1850: Fugitive Slave Act was passed
1861: Civil War Begins
1863: Emancipation Proclamation is delivered
1865: Civil War Ends
1868: Jim Crow Laws begin to be passed
1964: Civil Rights Act is passed
1996: Wunsch Building is renamed
